Word of Advice – some vegies will need more time to blend them and may heat up some blenders. These hard veggies include beetroot, green beans, and brussels sprouts. Add some water to ease the process.

Salt/Sugar/Honey/Maple Syrup/Chili — These are not mandatory, but it will help to keep the juice from becoming too bitter. You can use a salt and sugar packet or add 1/2 teaspoon of each if you do not have any on hand.

Blender — To make green vegetable juice, it is best to choose a type of blender that has at least 2 different speeds and includes a tamper. The slower speed helps mix the juice will once everything is sliced and the tamper helps redirect the veggies towards the blade.

  • 1 medium cucumber (sliced & peeled)
  • 3 stalks of celery (chopped)
  • 2 large handfuls of kale leaves (stem removed and chopped)
  • ¼ cup of spinach leaves (roughly chopped)
  • ½ cup of parsley (chopped)
  • 2-3 stalks of green onion (sliced into rings)
  • 1 medium apple (cored and chopped into quarters or eighths)

Recipe No 2:

  • 2 medium cucumbers (sliced & peeled)
  • 3 stalks of celery (chopped)
  • 1 large handful of spinach leaves (stem removed and chopped)
  • ½ cup parsley (chopped)
  • 1 stalk green onion (sliced into rings)

Recipe No 3:

  • 1 cup of baby spinach leaves (chopped)
  • ½ medium cucumber (sliced & peeled)
  • 2 stalks of celery (chopped)
  • ¼ cup parsley (chopped)

Add these all to the blender and let the blender do its work. Before pouring out the drink taste it, and add honey, chili, or lime if the flavor is not up to your taste.

Now for my favorite red vegetable juices. I mostly use beetroot for the red color and personally, I love the color of these juices.

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Half a beetroot (chopped)
  • Half red bell pepper
  • And finally, 1/4 cup of water.

Usually, I do not need to add any other ingredients to enhance the taste because cherry tomatoes are sweet and the beetroot adds an earthy flavor to that sweetness. Together they bring an amazing flavor.
